• Airfield Electrical Systems Upgrade

This project consisted of an equipment assessment to develop work scope for replacing obsolete and substandard components of the airfield electrical north and south vaults. After scope development, design efforts included modifications to the power service, ATS/EG, the Airfield Lighting Control & Monitoring System (ALCMS), and Surface Movement Guidance Control System (SMGCS), and regulator replacement.

• Pavement Sensor Replacement

This project replaced existing airside pavement sensors and RPUs with new equipment, using the airport's existing WiFi communication system and weather monitoring system software. Design included verification of existing site conditions at the proposed equipment locations and developing layout drawings showing removals and proposed equipment locations. Aviation Alliance developed detail drawings for installation of sensors, RPUs and power service connections. The design scope was amended to add non-intrusive pavement sensors for an access road bridge and parking garage ramps on the landside; however, this work was removed from the construction contract due to funding constraints.
