Designed runway and taxiway edge lighting and signage required for the rehabilitation of Runway 8-26. Designed modifications to the Runway 26 MALSR threshold bar, the PAPI-4 systems on Runways 8 and 26, and the Runway 8 REILS. Other associated work included, technical specifications, cost projections, design narrative, and quality assurance reviews.

• Runway and Taxiway Lighting System Improvements

Aviation Alliance Inc. was responsible for all technical design for this project. It consisted of placing all the existing runway and taxiway system lights in cans and providing all new cables in conduit for the system. Pullbox layout considered potential locations for a new field electrical vault. We also provided construction support services for this project.

• New Airfield Electrical Vault

Aviation Alliance Inc. was responsible for location and design of a new airfield electrical vault, power service, vault equipment, all new homerun circuitry to the airfield facilities, new rotating beacon and tower, installation of City-purchased primary wind cone, and relocation of suitable existing equipment from the existing equipment rooms in the terminal building to be demolished. Aviation Alliance provided several junction can plazas for the homerun circuits which greatly increases safety during electrical maintenance. Construction support services were also provided.

• Runway 13-31 Overlay and Safety Improvements

Aviation Alliance, Inc. (AAI) designed, prepared plans and specifications, and provided basic construction support services for this project's relocation of Runway 13 threshold lights, ODALS, and VASI-4 system necessitated by the FAA's requirement to relocate the runway threshold because of line-of-sight violation. The threshold lights were can-mounted and all new City cable was installed in conduit. A new electrical duct bank was placed under the runway. New transformers and frangible couplings were specified for the relocated fixtures. The visual NAVAIDS were installed to FAA F&E specification requirements.
